The Ascott Limited is accelerating the development of its The Crest Collection brand in France and entrusting the renovation of a new luxury establishment to Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel. The interior designer had already designed the hotel La Clef Champs-Élysées in Paris for the brand and thus sees himself converting the Citadines residence in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the sixth arrondissement of the capital into a five-star hotel. The work will begin after the Olympic Games in 2024 for an expected end in 2026.

The building will retain its historic Haussmann-style façade, while taking inspiration from the history of the district, a meeting point for famous painters and writers in the 19th and early 20th centuries
